How do I purchase tickets to the event?
From our Tickets page, you’ll be able to select from a variety of ticket options. During the checkout process, you'll be asked to provide details for networking purposes. You can purchase your tickets with a valid credit/debit card, have us send you an invoice to be paid, or via bank transfer. If you need any help, please get in touch with our team.
How will I receive my ticket(s)?
Every registered participant receives a ticket. If the payment is made via credit card, you get the ticket to your email address instantly. If the payment is made via invoice or bank transfer, you get the ticket once the money is transferred to our account.
What is the process when I can't attend the event?
If you can't make it to the WeAre Summit, and it is already less than one month before the event, you can find a colleague or a friend who will come instead of you. Please contact us at no less than 48 hours before the start of the event, and we'll re-issue the ticket in the other person's name.
Can I purchase a ticket on the day of the event?
Yes, it's possible.
Why haven't I received a confirmation notice?
If the amount was subtracted from your account, but you haven't received an email confirmation or invoice/tax document, please send us an email (including the account number you used for the purchase).
I can't get into the room due to full capacity.
Each room is limited to 14 people. Larger amounts could cause a problem with audio or graphics. That's why there are dozens of networking rooms instead of one large. If one is full, please go to another that interests you.
Or it is possible to watch what is happening in the room from the lobby. People can't see you at the moment, but you see and hear everything that's going on inside.
I hear someone, but he/she doesn't or vice versa.
In 90% of situations, the solution is to reload the page or reconnect the headphones.
The sound is choppy or does not work otherwise.
This situation most often happens with a slower connection and on wifi it can help get closer to the router.
My computer fans are buzzing.
Some types of devices respond to a high load on their performance by starting cooling fully. If your device doesn't start to overheat, that's fine.
The room page cannot be opened.
The solution is to open the room in an anonymous window.
The page tells me that it consumes a lot of memory.
The solution is to close all other tabs and other running programs or apps.
The technical requirements
We highly recommended for smooth running:
Laptop or classic computer.
Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge (latest version) or Brave. We don't have a good experience with Safari and we don't recommend it.
Good internet connection. Normally available speed, which you have at home or in the office, will suffice.
Headphones with a microphone for more pleasant listening and to prevent the creation of an unpleasant echo in the room.
Some quiet place where there will be no disturbing sounds around you. Because all these sounds will be heard by all the people in the room.
Are there any minimal requirement?
Since WeAre Summit runs in the browser it works across many different platforms.
For 2D experience
WeAre Summit works on most modern desktop browsers on Windows, Mac and Linux. It also works on most mobile browsers for Android, and Safari on iOS.
For VR experience
For Desktop VR (Oculus Rift, Windows Mixed Reality, or HTC Vive) WeAre Summit works when used with a WebVR compatible browser (e.g. Firefox). Users must also have either Oculus Desktop App (Oculus rift), or SteamVR installed (Windows Mixed Reality, HTC Vive).
For Standalone VR devices (Pico Neo 2, Oculus Quest and Oculus Go) WeAre Summit works in the Mozilla Firefox Reality Browser or the Oculus Browser.
Mobile phone powered VR systems, such as Samsung Gear and Google Cardboard, work using Google Chrome browser.
Note that some features may be limited on low-powered devices such as mobile phones.
Do I need some VR equipment?
YYou don’t need any VR glasses, controllers, sensors, or anything like it.
Got some of those at home? Great, you’ll have an even better experience. If not, you can use your desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.
We made sure everyone can join and fully enjoy the event on devices such as the MacBook Air.
Can I test that everything will run on my computer?
Yes, please do so before purchasing your ticket using the test version of the WeAre Summit you will find here. If you run everything without any problem, the event itself will also run correctly.
How do I sign in to a networking application?
After purchasing tickets, download the Eventee app to your mobile (iOS and Android), activate it using the QR code on your ticket, and get all the networking benefits straight away. The WeAre Summit section will be activated in Eventee at least 2 days before the event.
Can I leave the event and re-enter later?
Yes, of course! The event is entirely online, and it's up to you when you want to enter or leave the venue. However, we recommend you try to make your plans around the event schedule, so you don't miss any presentations or events.
What is the language of the WeAre Summit?
All keynote presentations and other parts of the program will be in English.
Can I take screenshots or video recordings of the event?
While it's not officially permitted to take photos or video recordings of the program on the main stage during keynote speeches, you're allowed to do so in other parts of the event. If you're a member of the press and would like permission to photograph or record the events of the main stage, please contact us.
